Extreme Office Makeover

The Wichita City Center holds an annual fundraising event that benefits a different charity each year.  Volunteers choose a non-profit organization and then makeover a room or rooms from beginning design to finished construction.

In 2009, Extreme Makeover IIDA Edition benefited Families Together, Inc., an organization for supporting families of children and youth with exceptional needs.  The main goal this year was to help reorganize space in a meeting room and office helping to give a separation of functions for storage, meetings and a break room.  An Extreme Makeover Open House and Mixer is held at the completion of the makeover to highlight the project and say thank you to all who donated time, money, materials and labor.
