Campus Outreach

The Mid-America Chapter of IIDA spreads its reach across the states of Kansas and the western half of Missouri. We have a powerhouse of local interior design programs in this region that know how to develop our students into well-rounded professionals.

Find Your Campus

Engage

Engage students directly with the Campus Relations Committee. The team ensures that the students in your campus center have access to the resources and benefits available to established IIDA Student chapters.

Compete

Compete in all competitions throughout the school year. This includes exclusive student competitions as well as IIDA MidAmerica competitions.

Host

Host Interior Design Professionals, product representatives, and other campus centers to collaborate, compete, learn, and grow through your own uniquely designed events.

Reward

Be rewarded with lasting connections and friendships, a place to practice professionalism, and a head start into you career in the Interior Design industry.

Identify

Identify with a Campus Center Appellation logo, Campus Center Instagram, and a unique brand. A Campus Center gives students the chance to develop a branded image that represents their group members.

Campus Centers

Beyond individual student memberships, IIDA recognizes campuses that show a strong commitment to the design community through IIDA Campus Centers. A Campus Center is made up of at least seven registered IIDA student members and a faculty advisor. Each year, local campuses register with IIDA HQ to maintain their status—and with it, gain access to exclusive perks and recognition for their involvement..

Grace Falley

2024-2025 KU IIDA Student President

“Our first event of the year was meeting with the IIDA Campus Center, and it was the most helpful meeting to start the year off. It helped our members answer all the questions they were wondering about IIDA and also informed us of amazing opportunities. One of these opportunities being the shift conference, which after hearing about it, I entered the contest and now have the opportunity to go to Dallas in February. Without the help of the IIDA campus outreach center, we would not be the successful student organization that we are.”
